You have a serious problem.

“86.6% of people on the planet are unhappy.”

Dan Peña explains the dilemma most people face today.

Under the masses of society, people aim to ‘fit in’ and be ‘liked,’
due to their own lack of self-esteem. Rather than working toward a goal
that adds value, people waste their time on petty offenses.

Since the beginning of Handmade Soap Club,,
I have fought through ups and downs of being a young entrepreneur.

Through the typical life of a high school student – relationships,
distractions, stress of school, etc – Soap has always been my priority.

At 13 years old, I began saving the world. The US Military showed that
quality soap works better than vaccines. The Center for Disease Control
says that it saves 1.5 million lives worldwide, annually.

Handmade Soap Club was pioneered on Etsy. I was shipping out 20 bars a
month, receiving checks or cash in exchange. No bank account or business
plan, just an auspicious proposal to refine my math and science skills.

During my freshman and sophomore years of high school, I struggled
personally. This deeply affected my take on Handmade Soap Club. I was lazy
with my blogs, marketing, and soap making. All I wanted to do was hangout
with my friends.

This was until I realized the importance of Independence.

These people weren’t even gonna remember my name in 5 years.

“Enough messing around!” I told myself.

I fought for my soap. My soap will outlast any relationship – My luxury
soap bars will last you forever, if you can resist using them!

Today, I sit in my Soap Studio. Not even 18 years old, I sign my first
lease and follow the 5pm traffic home.

The importance and pressure of focussing on my future gets heavier, daily.
This is just a reminder as to the sacrifices that must be made to
accomplish my goals.

If my brain doesn’t hurt by the time I crawl into bed, I didn’t work
hard enough.
