The past week has been full of IKEA projects, and lots of sweat and tears. Moving my soap lab across the city of Phoenix, in 115 degree weather, is tough work.
The final project is beyond rewarding.
No more making soap in my garage. No more clutter, hot and musty air, or arguing my brother about who made which soaps – he thinks he can make soap now… lol!!
Since the beginning of Handmade Soap Club, www.handmadesoapclub.com, I have always envisioned a Soap Studio – a space just for my soap. Dedicated to the art of soap making, my new Soap Studio is beyond beautiful.
Just 400 sqft, the room was designed to flow easily. No hazardous obstacles like skateboards or bikes!
When making soap, I can now completely zone out and focus. I wont hear my siblings screaming or running through my workspace.
Separate areas for each task; soap making, labeling and packaging, allow a faster and smoother production. I can focus more on the art and beauty of each bar, rather than tripping over a skateboard.
Check out this SNEAK PEAK of my new space.
I will be posting a full video tour soon!
