“Getting ready for college?!”

This question is asked everyday! I still get emails for Whittier College and The University of Arizona, pressuring for vaccines and tuition.

I will not be attending college at all.

Sounds harsh. I know.

At first, I didn’t know how to tell people, afraid of their reaction. My best friend supports me 100%, but her parents are another story. Hearing what they had to say put me on edge.

“Lily is a bad influence.”

Yes, yes, yes… I’ve heard that one before!

My parents want me happy, and seeing the rage in my eyes after a college tour was not pleasant. They couldn’t be more supportive of my life decisions.

One of my teachers from high school heard word and sent me a text;

“Wow! Aren’t you just the bomb diggity… hell you’re not even 18 yet… lol!!”

Opinions aside, I’m not living to impress or prove anything to anyone. I am minding my own business, doing what I love – experiencing life through work and travel.

As a college dropout, a Soap Studio is in the works…

Within the next few weeks I will be dedicating my time to a special workspace. In the heart of a buzzing city, my new studio sits in an artsy corner of Downtown Phoenix.

Handmade Soap Club has stolen my heart. I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.

This is where my time and money will be spent.

Keep in touch! I will be posting a video soon… You must see the Soap Studio!!
